EasyLogs helps organizations capture field audio, transcribe recordings, extract structured observations, and review or export those logs. This policy explains the information handled by the EasyLogs mobile app and web administration console.
Information We Collect
Account information, such as your email address and organization membership, is used to authenticate access and keep work separated by organization.
Audio recordings, transcripts, observations, field notes, and related metadata are collected when you choose to create or sync a log.
Approximate or precise location may be attached to a log only when location features are enabled and device permission is granted.
Technical information such as app version, device platform, upload status, and diagnostic logs may be used to operate, secure, and improve the service.
How We Use Information
We use your information to provide recording, upload, transcription, observation extraction, review, export, and administration features.
We may process audio and transcripts with trusted service providers so the service can generate structured observations from recordings.
We use operational and diagnostic data to maintain reliability, investigate failures, prevent abuse, and support users.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information.
Information may be shared with infrastructure and processing providers that help operate EasyLogs, including hosting, storage, authentication, transcription, and AI extraction providers.
Information may be disclosed if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of an organization-directed export or account administration action.
Retention And Deletion
Recordings and derived observations are retained while your organization keeps them in EasyLogs.
Local recordings may remain on a signed-in device after upload so users can recover from interrupted sync or review source audio.
An organization administrator can request deletion or export of organization data by contacting support.
Security
EasyLogs uses authenticated access, organization-level authorization, encrypted transport, and managed cloud storage controls.
No internet service can guarantee absolute security, but we design the service to reduce avoidable exposure and to keep organization data separated.
